      cannot log in to emails

      hi recently each time we try to log in to our email a/cs we get a message internet explorer cannot display this page, we can access our emails on any other computer or via mail2web.com. although unable to log in the home page still shows the welcome to "name" and i can still log in to my account just not emails-help please:

      Can't fully understand your description of the problem, but sky have recently changed some of the login pages.
      If you are using a shortcut that has previously worked but now doesn't then try this one.

      Do you use the sky web portal to login?

      Do you have issues with getting onto any other websites?

      Are you using a bookmark to get to the web portal login screen?

      Have you recently updated your anti-virus?

      i have to log in via link on home page and the link you posted, i get the log in page and enter username and password but when i press log in i get the page internet explorer cannot display this page message. i havent updated antivirus i use bullguard but we did run tune up utilities recently around the time of problem. i can log in to my sky using the same details as for emils without problem and if i use another computer i have no trouble opening them. thanx

      we did run tune up utilities recently around the time of problem.
      These things can cause more problems than they solve at times. If you created a Restore point before running it, which you should have done, try using System Restore to return you to the point before you made the changes.

      You could also try running IE without addons, one of which may be causing the problem. If it works, close IE down to go back to normal mode and disable your addons one at a time till you find the culprit. To do this-

      • Go to Start > Run
      • Type iexplore -extoff
      • Press Enter

      Looks like the issue is only related to one PC then and not the sky servers.

      I am wondering what tune up utilities changed.

      You could try downloading an alternative browser such as chrome or firefox. i would recommend chrome 10.

      If the issue is resolved with another browser then that would indicate that something was removed from internet explorer by tune up utilities

      Were both IE and firefox installed at the time that you ran tune up utilities?

      If the answer to the above question is yes then it could have removed the same thing from both

      Did you try running IE no add-ons?

      Or another browser not installed at the time of running tune up utilities?

      I no there have been issues with IE 9 and sky mail
