      Once again I think you are trying to add the new address in the wrong place.

      If you have created the new user (i.e.a new email address) on the "create an Additional User" page then that is all there is to it.

      There is no need to go to the "mail settings" "accounts" "Add another email address you own" as that is for sending email as another address via the sky SMTP server.

      In order to receive the mail sent to the new address you need to login with the new username and password on the sky webmail system, or add the username and password to a new account in outlook express.

      MMmm, why should the op want to create an additional user? He obviously already has a sky profile, and possibly one for a family member. When you go down this route, you have to create an entirely new user, when all the op wants is to add an Email address that he already owns or is entitled to use. Sorry but I have the same problem, and the last thing I want is yet another user to add to my own and my wifes.

      MMmm, why should the op want to create an additional user?
      Because that is the way to get another email account. You cannot have more than one Sky email registered to one user. You want another email address, you create another user.

      I may be missing something here, but does the OP say he wants to add a SKY email address?
      I thought that like me, he wanted to add an email address which he owns or is entitled to use, not a *******@sky.com
      I want to add my work email address to my existing sky user profile.

      OK maybe I should have read all the posts Doh! Looks like there is no way to send an email from my sky email, unless it is from my sky addy so no point in setting up a different isp's email, as I wouldn't be able to reply to any mails.
      I could be heading to BT, as I believe they have no such restriction.
