Skyuser SMTP Server not sending emails
Hi
I can't seem to send any emails using the Skyuser SMTP server if the subject line is empty - is this by design, or something I am doing wrong my end? I'm on XP using Outlook 2007...
I have searched for this but can't seem to find anything on it.
Thanks
John

Re: Skyuser SMTP Server not sending emails
I am pretty sure it scans the subject line for potential spam content. Glenn could confirm this though.

Re: Skyuser SMTP Server not sending emails
Yes the SMTP server scans the various parts of the email for potential spam usage and does include subject line so if empty it will reject it,We had to implement these sort of anti spam scans since we had a complaint about our server sending out spam.

Re: Skyuser SMTP Server not sending emails
That's great guys thanks for the quick replies - I did think it might be SPAM related, and have already implemented the "workaround" of putting something in the status line :-)
