Outlook Express - sent mail being retained in Sky folder
Greetings:
I'm using Outlook Express to send/receive e mails from my Sky account (I use syusermail smtp for my outgoing mail) and occasionally use the Sky portal to log in and check e mail when I'm away from home - everything works fine.
I've just helped my neighbour set up his Outlook Express to send/receive e mail through his Sky account. This works fine, however, any e mail that he sends keeps a copy in his 'Sent Mail' on the Sky portal. Is this normal? How can we stop this happening?
Any advice much appreciated.
Nigel.

it will happen as it's mirrors the OE profile...all Google accounts do this so if you log in away from PC you can see what you've done...

Re: Outlook Express - sent mail being retained in Sky folder
Ah . . . so this will always happen if you send mail through the Sky smtp server.
I guess he'll have to access the Sky e mail portal to manually delete these every now and again.
I assume that because I send my e mail via the skyusermail smtp server, that's when I don't get this.
Thanks.
Nigel.
