Receiving emails on mobile phone?
Is it possible for me to access my sky email on my Nokia N97?
I assume it must be, but is there a guide to configuring it for Sky?
It would be handy to have this ability so I can see important emails whilst out and about.

Re: Receiving emails on mobile phone?
The easiest way is to just log on to the webmail version of skymail using your phones web browser.
http://www.google.com/support/mobile...n&answer=54843 Whilst this is for googlemail, it should be the same for sky as sky use google.

Re: Receiving emails on mobile phone?
The N97 should be able to pick up POP or IMAP email. Just follow the instructions for setting up Sky email on a PC from the menu on the left of this page.

Re: Receiving emails on mobile phone?
Yes it can, but would that cause me a problem with receiving emails on my computer also?
If it is possible, I would like to be able to receive the emails on the N97, but they stay on the server until I retrieve them with my pc.
Is that possible?
I can do that with my work email at a university.

Re: Receiving emails on mobile phone?
You would need to change the settings on your email account via the webmail access so that when you download via POP3 it leaves a copy on the server.
IMAP is the best bet for syncing outlook accounts on different PCs.
...... I'd still go for accessing the webmail using the nokia web browser. I do it that way and it's very easy to do.
