      Problem with Outlook 2003

      I've been routing my sky emails through Outlook for nearly 6 months now (I've also been re-routing through gmail servers), and for no apparent reason I've been unable to do this recently.

      Outlook constantly requests a password for accessing the email account and won't accept the correct one. I've tried Unlock Captcha and all that jazz but to no avail.

      Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      I hate troubleshooting e-mail, but what I'd do...

      Reset your password via sky.com and then obviously change it within the Outlook settings also. If that doesn't work, then the following should suffice -

      If you've unlocked captcha (and some say wait up to 72 hours) and it's still repeatedly asking for a password then I'd give sky bb tech support a call. Just tell them you're sure your pop/imap settings are correct within Outlook, you've reset the password and tried unlocking the captcha. They'll escalate it to the webmail team and they'll call you back within 24 hours hopefully with some kind of workaround.
