Im also having this same problem. Its SKY at fault. They use googles servers cause they cant afford their own. What a joke ,i have paid for 10 additional email accounts but it is not possible to activate any. Pull your finger out sky ,virgin media dont have this problem.

I spoke to Sky last night about this and got nowhere, he said they know they have a problem they are working on it, in the meantime keep trying and it may work sometime. What a joke
they give you an account but you cannot use it, as soon as I get in at least I can set up a POP account, until then I have to continue with one of their competitors Orange.

I was helping a friend setup an additional mailbox today and we spoke to Sky who claimed they were having trouble with their website. They were hoping to have the problem fixed today so I'm planning on having another go tomorrow.
As with the poster above, we successfully created the additional user, but when we signed in as that user and went to email for the first time, the system tried to create the mailbox but timed out.

Supposedly the additional user glitch is now resolved, think it was fixed sometime Saturday.

whilst the additional users 'issue' was going on I managed to create 5 accounts working in about 5 minutes...must've been a random issue...
