    deleted additonal username, cant remake it

      deleted additonal username, cant remake it

      ok i added a username/additonal user of a certain name and i later deleted it stupidly

      i go to remake it straight after and it says username is use

      why hasnt the username become free when i deleted it.

      Because its not been deleted by Sky, but is only "tombstoned". After a period of time the user name will become available again (not in the short term, but depends on their policy of reusing user names).

      wouldn't bother, Sky BB tier 1 doesn't know and neither does the webmail team as far as I know. I've heard the name is "dead" for at least a month, a week, 6 months. No one seems overly sure. Asking in the googlegroup might be a quicker way of finding out.
