      success at last.
      it seems i needed to add @sky.com to my user name and out going name.

      This is a very common mistake, as it is the only place you use your full address as your username. If you try to use it anywhere else, your username it will be rejected. If you try it, you will be given this error -
      Your username is 3 to 32 characters long with no spaces and can contain letters, numbers and the characters dot (.), hyphen (-) and underscore (_)
