      Re: Outlook express

      Down to Sky/gmail problem.
Try suggestion from other thread, Change settings in OE from "pop.tools.sky.com, and smtp.tools.sky.com, to pop.googlemail.com, and SMTP.googlemail, com "
Go into Sky email, mail settings, forwarding etc, tick top circle "enable pop for all email" and save settings
If you are asked for user and password put the whole of your email address instead of just the bit before the "@" and usual password. Worked fine for me just now.

I have exactly the same problem. It is very weird. Emails from my Sky accounts to other (non-Sky) accounts appear to send and receive normally via Outlook. There are received emails which have been on the Sky server for a couple of days which haven't arrived via Outlook. Today I sent two test emails to the same Sky account. Both are there on the Sky server, one arrived via Outlook, the other didn't. Total confusion!

      Thanks Sputnick
I will try what you say, but why would this happen as I have made no change to any Outlook Express settings? Could it be Sky?

Thanks Sputnick. That worked for me too. All sky accounts now working via Outlook. The only questions that remain are:-

      1. Why didn't Sky warn us about this in advance?
      2. Why do we always have to find the answers using this forum? It would be nice if Sky posted the information somewhere.
