Outlook 2007 - Server does not support the selected encryption
It was working yesterday but today I turned on my pc only to find out that this message came up when I tried to check my emails using Outlook 2007 Enterprise edition:
Task '(My Email Address) - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC1A) : 'Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for additional assistance.'
As I said, it has been working for a while but its just today when I come to check my emails. I have followed all the instructions on sky.com and this website to try to fix the problem, but to no avail. I even tried to use IMAP but that didn't work either. When I tried to setup the email client using Sky.com's own guide it said to set the encryption of the incoming server to TLS but that is not an option in Outlook 2007 (only SSL is there)
Please help!

Re: Outlook 2007 - Server does not support the selected encryption
I have this problem as well, Outlook 2007 giving me the same error message
I also use Mailwasher to check any spam prior to opening Outlook and that is still accessing the Sky e-mail Ok as is the Web portal
So presumably something has changed in Outlook 2007 to bugger it up?
