      Skyuser SMTP service problems

      Hi,

Been using the Skyuser SMTP service for a couple of months with no problems. Suddenly it has started not authenticating me. I can connect, it accepts the mail delivery (so the SMTP Auth seems to work), but returns the mail (via return path) as undeliverable with a 550 error. Anyone else having a problem. Tried to PM NewsreadeR but their PM box is full.

It would be nice to know if it is just me or not

The only time I have any problem is when the recipients email server is not accepting incoming emails. Then I get the error but as soon as the recipients email server comes back on-line all is OK. This seems to happen quite often with some of the free email services used by recipients.

Sorry - Only just spotted this will look into it now.

In future if you use the Contact Us page, it will go to the admins, instead of relying on myself or Glenn to answer PMs.

OK - using your details, I have just sent myself a test message. Received fine. Can you PM me (I have increased my PM message limits to 2k lol) with the password that you are using? Or a To or From address so I can check for you.

Which clearly shows it going through the SMTP server, this was using your Forum name and the password that you supplied as per our master list.
