      Re: email archiving

Are you using outlook or outlook express. ?

I'm using Outlook 2007 and if you select FILE > ARCHIVE it gives a default path of:

      C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\archive.pst

      Re: email archiving

Google is very easy. Even if you archived an email, all you need to do is search for a keyword that might identify the email and Google finds it in everywhere including inbox, sent, archived mails. The keyword can be the name of person who emailed you, or the organisation, or any specific words you might identify in the email.
If you were not looking for a specific email then instead of selecting inbox, just click on All Mail and it will include the archived emails as well, you can select particular mails and move them to Inbox as well.

To see the mail you have archived, just hit "All Mail" on the left hand side.
