Going dizzy with all this reading

I am exhausted with trying to get my Father in Laws new laptop to send emails with his also new broadband service. I have read hundreds of forum posts and tried everything suggested. I am waiting forthe smtp application to be confirmed before trying that. BUT in the meantime, as his original sky email was set up in my husbands name I have added my father in law as an additional user. But can I use that email address in windows mail? I have tried but its not happy. The original email is working.

      Getting very fed up now.

Yes you can use the additional users email address in windows mail, but you still have to go into the webmail configuration and enable POP or IMAP for that user.
