email sending problem
Hi Folks
Sometimes (usually when its important) I get the following "Outlook" error message when trying to send emails through my sky account.
"sending reported error (0x800CCC7D): "Your outgoing (SMTP) server does not support SSL-secured connections. If SSL-secured connections have worked in the past, contact your server administrator or ISP"
I have not changed my set up and the problem normally "cures" itself 5 to 8 hours later but what causes it me or Sky.

what port are you using? if it works most of the time I'd expect it to be a Google issue...the Sky site itself has been on the blink most of the month but doubt that has anything to do with it...

outgoing server port set to 465 and "this server requires an encrypted connection" box is ticked
