Setting up both email acounts
I have two email accounts - 1 for myself and 1 for my wife.
I have set them both up to use seperate outlooks. We are using the same XP account. My email is using Outlook 2003 and hers is using Outlook Express.
They have all been configured correctly. My email works where as hers doesnt.
Every time she goes into outlook express an error meesage appears to say the server is wrong. When I have checked the settings the incoming mail server has changed to 127.0.0.1 and the SSL connection has defaulted back to 110.
I then configure the settings correctly to what they should be, then go out of Outlook Express and back in again then it downloads all the emails. However next time I go back in to test the settings have changed themselves to the wrong ones agin.
Anybody know why it does this to hers and not mine.
Or is there a way of adding her account on to Outlook 2003 where mine is but not view the other persons emails by having a seperate mailbox?

Re: Setting up both email acounts
It is probably the email setting in your anti-virus that is changing the server to localhost. It would be best to have separate accounts on the PC.

Re: Setting up both email acounts
That would depend on what antivirus you use. I think the best thing to do would be to set up a separate XP account for your wife and them you could both use Outlook.
