sky email adding another account..?
I have just joined sky broadband from pipex, not strictly true as I don't get me activation until Thursday. I have successfully set up my outlook to receive emails from my new sky email account (I'm also still receiving emails from my old pipex account)..no problem...
My wife had her own email account on pipex, I simply requested an account for her, was given a username for which I set up a more reasonable alias..bingo..
How do I set up this separate email account in SKY, I have read most of the threads / watched tutorials on this and must be a bit slow as I can't quite work out what I have to do. I set her up as an additional user..but this asked me for an email account with which msg's could be sent..only one I had was her old pipex account so I entered this which seemed to work but did not give me what I wanted..a separate email address for her...
any help gratefully received.. Al

do you mean another one for another member of your family?
if so, log into 'My Sky' and click 'manage additional users' and follow the on screen instructions - job done-------------------------------------------

yep, I think I was misreading some of the information...additional user plus new email account and access through outlook all set up and going well...thanks for your help

Hope it's OK to tag on here.
To date I've set up about 6 additional users. All of which are acclaimed a success!!! Yet when log in using my primary address and go to manage additional users within My Sky none of them appear on the screen to allow me to do this.
I was forced to set up a gmail account as I did not want my primary email with sky to be corrupted with junk etc.
I rang sky on this and was told they would send out an email in reply to my phone call (fob off?)
I have also added them to my email account under settings and accounts but can't get a verify email back. This comes back 'Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently'etc.

Answering My own posts.
Sorted. Remember NEVER use a number at the begining of your password, always start with a Letter (strange??). up and running with two additional profiles and hopefully two new email addresses.
