Re: Email issues.
all looks correct - although i would hide your email address for security...
only thing i can think of would be to change your password on the sky.com site and see if doing that works cause it's probably just a password issue...-------------------------------------------

Re: Email issues.
Still nothing.
I am at my wits end.
I seem to have nothing but problems with sky.
End of my contract I am going else where as this is ridiculous.
Setting up email should not be THIS hard.
There are much better providers of broadband out there.

Re: Email issues.
Have you got the latest service pack for Office? That frequently solves the "unable to send from Outlook" problems.

Re: Email issues.
Please tell me who these better providers are that will give you
upto 8mb for £5 a month
The email service is average, but the Internet service
is very good, its fast and not traffic shaped something
pretty rare for the "cheap" per month providers
It makes me laugh when people have the nerve to
winge about the service when there paying 16p a day
for it , and most the problems people have are there own
setup at fault.
if I could swap my line back to BT easily I would
get Sky max like a flash, better than the £24 pm
I pay now.Last edited by dsldude; 29-03-08 at 01:52 AM.

Re: Email issues.
It amazes me that some people will be cheap asses and settle for a crap service.
Some of us would rathe rpay a little extra and not be jerked around.
Keep your opinions to yourself if it is purely abot being cheap and getting whatever you can for as little as possible.
Some of us want a good service and will pay for it.
