Configuring Outlook Express driving me mad

I have created a new email address andrew.XXX@sky.com & enabled POP in MYSKY settings then created an account in OE following all the guides (adding pop.tools.sky.com / smtp.tools.sky.com / ticking 'my server requires auth. / setting port SMTP to 25 & POP3 to 995)

I have then created an additional acct for the missus nicky.XXX@sky.com & also enabled POP & then added the account in OE on her side of the PC

This is where the fun starts...if we send emails to each other, they are never recd (although they can be seen in sent file in OE & the mail is recd in MYSKY but not to OE ??)

Some emails sent to the missus by external people are recd by my & vice versa. Some external mails are only recd in the Sky account & not into OE.

      It's driving me barmy !!

I have followed all the guides to the letter so any ideas ?

      Cheers

I thought Sky told you what your email address was in the form USER_NAME@sky.com and you had to use that. Or am I wrong?

it can have dots so thats fine...

thing that jumps out though is you have the SMTP port wrong - it should be 465 with SSL enabled...
