why do I get two copies of each email I'm sent?
Ever since I set up Outlook Express to receive my sky emails I get two copies of each email I'm sent
Then today two emails I sent ended up as 28 and 29 identical emails in my friends' inboxes!
Has anyone any idea what is happening?
I have run a virus check and malware check but all is clear.

I have never heard of this problem before but i would be careful with this and maybe even go as far as formatting your hard drive because sky will suspend your internet connection if they pick up on this.

You're not alone. I'm on the receiving end of a similar problem (but not frrom a Sky account). Sometimes I receive multiple emails from an OE user, each one timed slightly differently. Then the problem goes away to reappear sometime in the future. I have no solution but it's not an unknown problem.
I'd delete your email account in OE and carefully open a new one checking each entry. It might also be worth checking all the settings of your Sky email account.

Re: why do I get two copies of each email I'm sent?
I think it was because I had enabled forwarding in Sky POP to another email address which was already set up in Outlook Express
I disabled forwarding and am only getting one copy of the emails now.
One copy was staying in the inbox at sky - as I had set up to happen
However tonight I could not get into Sky to see what was happening there!
