Multiple email addresses on one email name

I came across this 1 Awesome Gmail tip You Don’t Know about. Seriously. | MakeUseOf.com which shows you how to use a single Google email user name to achieve many different email addresses. It may also work with Sky email.

Basically you add a <full stop> anywhere in your user name and that becomes a new email user name but all incoming mail will go to your main address. With the use of the <+> key lots of other extras can be achieved.

So UserName@sky.com and User.Name@sky.com will always reach UserName@sky.com. So will U.s.e.r.N.a.m.e@sky.com.

Someone might find it useful!

I've just tried this and whilst I can make it work with my GMail address it doesn't work with my UserName@sky.com. Pity!
