      Error message with outlook express

      Morning, can anyone help please.
      I am trying to access my removedbyadmin@sky.com email messages though outlook express but am constantly getting this error

      There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.tools.sky.com', Server: 'pop.tools.sky.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted.', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

      I am sure I have filled in all the check boxes, etc but am frustrated to say the least

      John, you should avoid posting your email address to public forums as there are nasty webbots which trawl the WWW looking for such address to add to spamming lists.

      Have you enabled POP on the sky email and tools system? Have you tried closing outlook express and running the unlockcaptcha tool? Is your user name your full email address?

      I also have a problem sending mail via outlook which I never had using orange. Can anyone help with this.


      When I try and send a file with .exe from my email account it bounces back with an error code "552 5.7.0 illegal attachment"
      I have tried to compress the file to a folder and still get the same message. On the web someone mentioned that sky did not allow mail with .exe to be sent, what is the way around this as I tried to rename the file but the extension still remained .exe and would not go so I had to use webmail to send the file.
