    fed up with email

    This is a discussion on fed up with email within the Sky Email and Portal Log-in forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; I can only recieve mail, not send since last night, I have changed nothing, my incoming mail is through sky ...

      fed up with email

      I can only recieve mail, not send since last night, I have changed nothing, my incoming mail is through sky out going is through orange, have had many issues with orange server in the past, should I abandon and start with a new email set up through sky?

      What SMTP server are you using to send? You should be sending by smtp.tools.sky.com and then receiving by what ever POP accounts you want (Sky, orange etc) as you may find that you cannot send through other ISP smtp servers now that sky has finished it's email migration/ decommissioning.

      Unless you have an account with Orange you won't be able to send mail via their servers. Your incoming mail will also cease in the fullness of time, however you can reactivate this on their website.
