If you fiddle around with these settings it should work.

You seem to enable all the SSL & authentication for outgoing mail before you can send through your Yahoo a\c.

      Good luck!

yeah have the same problem since y'day, checked this forum and it kinda explains it all. read here http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-e...ng-emails.html

tried this link didnt work - may need to play around with the settings but dunno how it can send using your own domain or yahoo account if the smtp settings require skys details - it will send but it shows sky email address instead of your own (yahoo etc) http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-e...ng-emails.html

anyhow it seems this may be the way SMTP relay service - authenticated SMTP email service, mobile / relaying denied and SMTP errors solved.

Right! I have sussed it out!!!

What you have to do is go to your sky main user mail account, click on mail settings, click on Accounts, Click add another e mail address. follow the on screen instructions, wait for e mail to verify that the account you have set up is yours and hey presto your mails sent will have the right e mail account on!!!

      still hate sky though!!!!!

It should be said you can only default 1 email address to show "sent from" but you do have the option to reply from the addy it has been sent to.
