Outlook problem
I can send e-mails from outlook but can't receive.
They are coming into the Sky mail based in web browser but not into outlook.
I'm using pop.sky.com and smtp.sky.com have enabled pop in the sky mail in the 'mail settings.
Any ideas?

Wrong servers, those are being switched off next week, you need to be on the new servers with SSL enabled on the correct ports.

I tried with the ones on Sky help pages, I think they had 'tools' in there somewhere, but I kepr getting error message on sending and receiving?

follow this...
1. Log in to your Sky email account.
2. Click Settings at the top of any Sky Mail page.
3. Click Forwarding and POP
4. Select Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on.
5. Choose the action you'd like your Sky Mail messages to take after they are accessed with POP.
6. Configure your POP client and click Save Changes.
Then:-
1. Open Outlook or Outlook Express.
2. Click the 'Tools' menu and select 'Accounts...'
3. Click 'Add,' and then click 'Mail...'
4. Enter your name in the 'Display name:' field, and click 'Next.'
5. Enter your full Sky Mail email address (username@sky.com) in the 'Email address:' field, and click 'Next.'
6. Enter 'pop.tools.sky.com' in the 'Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:' field.
7. Enter 'smtp.tools.sky.com' in the 'Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:' field.
8. Click 'Next.'
9. Enter your Sky Mail username (including '@sky.com') in the 'Account name:' field.
10. Enter your Sky Mail password in the 'Password:' field, and click 'Next.'
11. Click 'Finish'.
12. Highlight 'pop.tools.sky.com' under 'Account' and click 'Properties'.
13. Click the 'Advanced' tab.
14. Tick the box next to 'This server requires a secure connection (SSL)' under 'Outgoing Mail (SMTP)'.
15. Enter '465' in the 'Outgoing mail (SMTP):' field.
16. Tick the box next to 'This server requires a secure connection (SSL)' under 'Incoming mail (POP3)'. The port will change to 995.
*The order of 'Outgoing' and 'Incoming' mail server fields varies by version. Make sure you enter the correct information in each field.
17. Click the 'Servers' tab and tick the box next to 'My server requires authentication'.
18. Click 'OK'.-------------------------------------------

I'm getting this now........
The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'XXXXXXX@sky.com'. Subject 'test', Account: 'pop.tools.sky.com', Server: 'smtp.tools.sky.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first 25sm389919ugn.23', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 530, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

wrong port...
plus, you won't get the test email back if you're sending it to yourself
AND, you need all updates for outlook...-------------------------------------------

another note, you wont receive the test message you send yourself - it'll appear online but not to outlook
