      How to fix your Sky Broadband and email - Help Please

      Can you help? I have the correct account settings, and can send emails from outlook, but incoming email goes to the sky.com gmail rather than to my outlook.

      How do I sort this?

      You have enabled the POP settings haven't you, under Settings > Forwarding and POP in the sky/gmail.com ?

      Set POP to Port 995 and Secure TLS login and make sure your User name and Password are correct.

      should be SSL not TLS

      Thank you all for your help. I enable POP and followed instructions for Outlook 2003 (pop.tools.sky.com + smtp.tools.sky.com + 995/465 etc). Everything seemed fine except it couldn't send a test message.

      Incoming emails started through to outlook but outgoing failed.

      Went back and recreated original account (pop.sky.com + smtp.sky.com) as previously advised via a friend on skyuser, which sent but didn't receive.

      Now all seems sorted, but not sure if this exactly by the book.

      If it can be refined, please let me know.

      do you have SP3 for outlook 2003 installed? if not, get it...

      Went back and recreated original account (pop.sky.com + smtp.sky.com) as previously advised via a friend on skyuser, which sent but didn't receive.
      If those are your current settings then they will not work past the beginning of Feb as those servers are being switched off. Service pack your PC and office installation fully and re-set your account settings to the new server details.

      also, you don't get the test message back from Sky - although it should be in the web portal...just how it works
