      Right,
      1. Have you created a range of Labels?YES
      2. If so, are all those Labels now listed on the left-hand side of the page? YES
      3. Have you Labeled any emails? YES
      4. If so, when you click of the relevant Label on the left-hand side of the page do you only see your Labeled email. YES

But I need to keep the e-mail's that I put in the lable area for up to three years. that seem's to me to be a lot of mail's in the inbox ( up to 30 per day)

Right, so the part you are missing is that you need to Archive them rather than deleting.

Clicking the Archive button removes it from the inbox, but does not delete it. Your email can still be seen by clicking on the Label on the left-hand side.

It's probably worth saying though, that if you need to keep these emails for that length of time, you should probably have some form of backup in case there is ever a problem online, or you leave Sky.

Using Outlook Express (or even better Thunderbird) would give you the traditional method of working with Folders etc.

If you archive your emails with Skoogle then you can keep them for as many years as you want. As has been same create your labels and then label each email as they arrive in your inbox. You can then see them again by selecting the relevant label under the Label bit on the left handside half way down.
