Downloading SPAM from skoogle to Outlook Express 6
I use outlook express 6 to handle all my e-mails and whilst I have no problem receiving and sending, via O.E, I still have to log into Skoogle to check the SPAM folder, which is really annoying as I had taken out a year subscription to McAfee, which includes the spam killer in O.E. Does anyone know how I can configure O.E to automatically download the SPAM e-mail or, alternatively, set up the Skoogle to automatically do this. The broadband team at Sky have been next to useless so far. Many thanks in anticipation of not spending time pondering this anymore.

Re: Downloading SPAM from skoogle to Outlook Express 6
If you want to remove spam from the Google spam folder go to settings, filters, set up new filter.
Then in the has the words box put is:spam
go to next step ignoring the warning.
Then tick the delete it box.
Result all your spam disappears.
oh dear just re read your post, and see you want to download your spam to OE, google deletes it itself after 30 days.
There may be a way maybe the foreward it to option would work.Last edited by penrhyn; 28-11-07 at 11:27 AM.

Re: Downloading SPAM from skoogle to Outlook Express 6
I haven't figured out a way to do this yet, it's been one of life's little problems for some users since Gmail first started so I guess it can't be done.
For what it's worth, the google spam filters are rockin'!.

Call me stupid if you want but I don't really understand why you want to download your spam to Outlook Express. If a mail has ended up in the spam folder then simply tell Skoogle that it is not spam and it should be moved to your inbox.

Re: Downloading SPAM from skoogle to Outlook Express 6
As I said above if you find mail in the spam folder that shouldn't be then hit the 'not spam' button and it should be sorted for you.

Your best bet would be to bin the idea of using Sky and find another email provider. Gmail accounts now support IMAP so you can get all that lovely spam delivered to your desktop for free!
