Re: problems sending nonsky emails on sky broadband
The whole "from address rewriting" issue could be resolved if Sky were to agree to keep smtp.sky.com working as an outgoing mailserver. They must (well, they ought to) realise that many people use third-party email services and that many of those services depend on people being able to use their ISP's mail server and it not rewriting the "from" address.

Re: problems sending nonsky emails on sky broadband
i have complained to sky who say they will look into it. disappear then. I seem to have sorted the problem which is by making my wifes email the default email address in settings. issue is now that my sky email only gets delivered to her email address. solved the main problem. the other solution is to change provider which i am about to do. sky is the worst isp i have ever had. thanks for all your tips.

I am not sure if I understood the problem correctly..
But I use Outlook 2002 and when I compose a message, there is a tab at the top saying accounts. Here you can select ( using a drop down box) which e-mail account you want to use to send the e-mail.
