Can't switch on POP access for additional account
Hoping someone can help; apologies if this problem has already been covered.
I've used an additional account's email address ever since I got Sky broadband (since the main account was a stupid email address for reasons not worth going into here).
I've today successfully turned on POP access for the main account address, and can receive emails to it with my mail browser (I use Thunderbird). But I can't turn it on, or access my mail in webmail, for my 2nd account (very annoying as I've been away for a week and have a lot of outstanding mail). I can log into the 2nd account in Sky Tools, and I see the sender and subject of the 5 most recent emails in the "latest email" box of the tools page. But when I click on "goto inbox", it takes my to the inbox page for the main account email (which has an empty inbox), not the 2nd account. I therefore can't get to the mail settings for the second account. If I click on one of the 5 emails I can see in the tools page, I get:

Can anyone help, or is there any point in trying the dreaded Sky help line?
Thanks.

Re: Can't switch on POP access for additional account
^^^ I think there are two stages to logging in. You have to log in to the second user Sky Account before you log in to the second user email account. I had some problems setting up our 4 accounts until I realised this.
Go to Sky.com - Home and see if you are automatically logged in as the first user. If so, then log out, and log in again using the second user details. Then you should be able to access the email account by logging into the tools section with the second user details.

Re: Can't switch on POP access for additional account
Thanks, but think I've already tried that. Made sure I was logged in as the 2nd user to both MySky and to email and tools, but it still kicks me back to the main user when I click inbox.

Re: Can't switch on POP access for additional account
When it takes you to the main user inbox there is a "sign out" icon top right sign out then try signing back in with your second user details.

Re: Can't switch on POP access for additional account
Does this link get you anywhere?
https://www.google.com/a/sky.com
Just fill in the details and select "I'm Not An Administrator"
It worked for somebody else yesterday.

Re: Can't switch on POP access for additional account
there is clearly some kind of cache problem with your browser - you obviously should not be able to see you other account whilst logged in on another one.
have you tried restarting your browser and going directly to - http://mail.tools.sky.com.

Glad you're sorted.
https://www.google.com/a/sky.com must do something different to http://mail.tools.sky.com even though both the links end up going to the same place! But i dont know what or why? Who cares as long as it works!

Re: Can't switch on POP access for additional account
But it really doesn't though - honestly
the link, if you look at the source code is exactly the same, there is no middle page or redirect script.

Thanks.
