      Your logon credentials are incorrect

      I know they are not.

      Now that they have moved me to google mail I am unable to receive or send any mail, I cannot log in to the portal to tick the pop box.

      I have rang Sky and they say that they are awarw of the problem but cannot do anything about it at the moment (she advised to to keep trying over the weekend and it may be ok by next week), I really think I was told a pile of cowpat.

      I have read and tried all the obvious advice on these threads, anyone else having the same problem?

      I know my user and pass are ok as I am able to change the password and if I type in the wrong one it knows, what is going on?

      Any help appreciated.

      It wasn't "cowpat" it's what she has been told to advise you. The migration may well be causing your issue and the migration itself is due to be completed by Monday. If you have tried resetting your password through sky.com using the forgotten my password link then there is not much more that can be tried until the migration ends.

      There are quite a few people still in the same position, and I think the advice from Sky is correct at present - hold on for a few days.

      Just as a matter of interest, have you tried the Account Unlock page mentioned in several other threads? If you have and it does not recognise your username/password combination then you'll just have to sit tight I'm afraid. In case you do not have it, here is the link to the webmail homepage so you can check your access without having to go to the main sky website first.

      It may be what she has been told to advise but that doesn't mean it isn't cowpat. I have been unable to log on to Sky portal for a while now so I don't think it is the migration.

      At the very least, the idea to migrate the user base in one go is COWPAT, they cannot even tick the pop setting for me.

      You would think they would iron out all the portal problems before forcing the customer base to use it.

      P.S. I have tried the unlock but that doesn't work.

      Now that it is Google mail, can I log in via their website?

      Your a star , got in to g-mail and set my pop, all is now working.

      Think the portal is still stuffed, it looks like there has been some sort of amalgimation between my account and my wifes, the details on my user profile seems mixed up.

      I have managed to log in to the portal via my wifes details but I was only able to forward her pop.

      Glad it worked.

      Yes you were told a pile of COWPAT.... how come us lowly users can find answers while they just sit there picking their noses!
