      I'm intrigued! Let me get this straight:

      You can log on to the webmail portal

      You can log on to sky.com

      You can successfully unlock your account with the Captcha page (making sure that your POP client is offline when you do so)

      You've turned on POP access in the Webmail Mail settings.

      But you still can't send/receive email on Outlook!

      I get to "go to inbox" in emails/tools,new window opens with Google in the address then user validated and.....nothing blank page keeps refreshing.
      Any ideas?
      Changed password etc.

      hmm, what happens when you go straight to the mail page - https://mail.tools.sky.com

      and out of interest, what web browser do you use? Internet Explorer?

      At first told me there was a problem with the sites security but 2nd time I have indeed seen all my emails,Thank you.
      What do I do know enable pop ? (I use Outlook 2003 )

      Hurrah!

      Yes, now you are in click on 'Mail Settings' at the top right of the page.

      Click on 'Forwarding & Pop'

      Choose Enable POP for all mail and then click save settings.

      Once you've done that you can add your pop settings to Outlook.

      Rather than make another thread I thought I would just post here.

      I reinstalled Vista with OE that comes with Office 2007, I was able to access my Sky Gmail before but, since the reinstall it just will not work.

      All the settings are 100% correct (believe me I have been through them a million times - no j/k), I have changed the PW and made sure it works in IE, which it does. Then changed it in OE to the same - doesn't work.

      I can access my GMail in IE no problem but, OE says my username/PW is incorrect.

      Used the Captcha page and it says my Username and PW do not match!

      What do I do now as my head feels like its going to explode!

      Have you tried using your old password - some people have found that for some unbelievably weird reason they can get in using their old one for a day or two after changing it.

      The other thing is.. I presume you are on Outlook rather than OE - if it came with office...? Either way, whichever you are using, is it totally up-to-date with latest service packs, patches, etc? Others have had success with updating Outlook - although admittedly it was earlier versions of Outlook than 2007.

      post back, let us know how you get on.

      forgot to mention - if you have a specific error message, it's always good to see them so cut and paste it into the reply if possible.

      to the Sky goat,

      i do not use the sky email, but i must say over the last week i have been reading some of the posts and most of your replys, you have the paitience of a saint and you seem to have been on 24/7

      you have been doing a fantastic job, if i ever do use the the email i will be sure to look up your guides

      you defo get my vote for poster of the year

      Outlook Express

      I have the same problem with O/E. I have spoken to level 3 at Sky today and they say in their words that they have a major problem with O/E.
      I had to reset my passwords on all my email accounts with them on the phone ,all to no avail. The problem they say is Google mail which is blocking my address.
      They would only say that their engineers were working on the problem and to keep trying every 2 days to access O/E. If after a few days I will have to ring back again.
      However I now able access my emails on Sky.
