Re: e mail problem
Presumably you are receiving mail in thunderbird? If so, you just need to go back to the webmail portal and under Mail Settings ~ Forwarding & POP change the action once accessed by POP to "delete sky's copy". personally I would keep mine there - it's a handy backup.
If that's not your problem, post back.

Re: e mail problem
The emails that aren't downloading from the sky portal wouldn't happen to be emails you've sent where you have cc 'd yourself a copy or test emails you've sent to yourself? If so it's the way google works - it won't let you send email to yourself!

Re: e mail problem
If you go back into the portal into Mail Settings then Forwarding & POP try re-enabling POP (for all mail even mail that's previosly downloaded) and click Save Changes and try with Thunderbird again.
NB All your mail goes via Sky webmail servers and sits there until you download it via your mail client.

Re: e mail problem
Do they come through eventually, or not at all?
Also, is it just from one person, or from lots of different addresses?
Do you have thunderbird set to check mail every few minutes, or once every 10 minutes/half an hour? Could there be an overlap inbetween you checking on Thunderbird and checking on the web?.
