      Sent Mail

I only use Outlook Express and have no interest in webmail.

When I send an email I keep a copy in OE. Now I am also keeping a copy in the "Sent Mail" folder in Skoogle mail. This folder has no time limit on it so it appears the mail will stay there forever unless I log on and delete.

Any ideas as to how to get them automatically deleted?

      Thanks

I've been using normal GoogleMail for a while and don't think that it is possible to auto delete the Sent itmes

      Re: Sent Mail

When you compose an email in OE and send via Sky it puts a copy in the "Sent Mail" folder in Skoogle Mail.

No, I'm afraid you can't stop the sent items from going in there, or set a time limit on how long they stay there.

      Re: Sent Mail

Problem solved thanks to the_sky_goat and his

      http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-e...ns-so-far.html

      under
==Using POP on mobile or multiple devices==

You can change the account name in OE to recent:username@sky.com

Then set up a filter (you need to be able to differentiate between email received and email sent) to either delete "Sent Mail" from the server:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the From line contains 'Name you chose to display'
and Where the message is from the "Specified" account
      Delete it from server

or to put the "Sent Mail" in a special folder.

The Sent Mail on Skoogle is then moved to the Trash folder where mail older than 30 days is deleted
