      Sky e-mail to Yahoo.co.uk

Yesterday I received an e-mail stating an e-mail I had sent from my Sky a/c (using Outlook) to a user on Yahoo.co.uk had not been accepted by Yahoo but further attempts would be made.I have just been told that all my recent e-mails to Yahoo.co.uk have not been received yet ones to Yahoo.it get through.

I have not changed any settings in Outlook (using smtp.sky.com) and,to the best of my knowledge, all my other e-mails are successful.
Also I occasionally get a failure trying to access my e-mail.

Does anyone know of these problems?

It sounds to me more as if the problem is with Sky's email servers rather than anything wrong at your end. Hopefully this will improve once everyone is moved over to Sky/Google mail service.

      Re: Sky e-mail to Yahoo.co.uk

I've had similar problems sending emails to Yahoo addresses, especially when sending attachments, which have not got through at all. Sky told me that it was a problem at Yahoo, not with Sky. I have now been switched to Sky/Google but I am having exactly the same problem. Any ideas on how to resolve the matter?

      Re: Sky e-mail to Yahoo.co.uk

I wish I could help but it dawned on me that I was only having problems with my daughters Yahoo a/c so I asked her to reset everything in Yahoo to 'default' and the problem disappeared.Kids.eh!

I hope you solve your problem quickly (and easily).

Thanks. Sorted out my problem. In Outlook Express I needed to uncheck the "Break apart large messages" box.
