NO Sky Mail - Sky confirmed and no date to fix!
I am trying to use the Sky SMTP server to send email via outlook express, I expected to have to authenticate but kept getting errors.
Logging onto MySky which shows id and password correct I get an error: " No sky mail, contact broadband enquiry".

We are aware that a small number of customers are receiving the message "You do not appear to have an e-mail address".
This is being investigated by our Email team, currently we are unable to specify a timescale for this issue to be resolved.
In the meantime, please continue using your alternative e-mail address until this matter is resolved. Your patience in this matter is greatly appreciated.

They have been very helpfull but it is now 9 days and is somewhat frustrating!
Will keep you posted, I do think if no email they should port these accounts to the new Sky Tools Mail........

I think I have seen other people post on here about the "You do not appear to have an e-mail address" error, perhaps you might want to try a search of these forums as see if anybody managed to get around the problem.

If you get a solution,please post it here as I have been unable to have SKY mail since I tried to get it in August.
