Re: New Sky Email SMTP and POP Settings (powered by Google)

Is anyone having the same problem as me? I have changed all of my settings, double checked everything is correct and I still cannot send e-mail. I seem to be able to recieve it, but not sure if its all coming through!

I have changed the settings on the sky website but I am now extremely frustrated ats Sky's inability to manage a change and ensure it works before migrating people!!

I have tried the link https://www.google.com/a/sky.com/UnlockCaptcha
but cannot access it as it says I need to be an administor.

Can someone please tell me how/when I will be able to send e-mails using Outlook 2003? As the Sky technical support are useless and they don't seem to listen to you!!
      thanks

All aspects of the system should stabilise today, some may find that they do not have all emails in their inbox or all contacts in their list for another day or so (up to Friday) but you should be able to send and receive as normal today. If not call TS and they will have to take you through a few steps to see if something has gone wrong.
One thing you may want to try if you keep getting errors about username or password is a password reset on Sky.com using the "Forgotten my password" link. There are currently something like 3 systems that have your details on within the Sky setup and it may be that a password is out of synch somewhere.

Re: New Sky Email SMTP and POP Settings (powered by Google)

The saga continue's!! I spent 4 hours last night trying to get my pop setings working until I spotted the link above by Shakka which cleared the problem "Thankyou". During my own attempts to resolve the issue I reset the password several times on sky.com and finally when I went to bed everything was working, now this morning I cant log in again via pop!! arrrrghhh Well after trying all the various passwords I set last night I've found one that works, then half hour later cant log in again. Tried all the passwords again now another one works!!!
In short the pop server seems to be working its way through all the passwords that I set up on sky.com last night, i.e. there's a delay between reseting your password on sky.com and that change transfering to the pop server.

Re: New Sky Email SMTP and POP Settings (powered by Google)

      Hi,

People seem to be able to log in to the following link:

      https://www.google.com/a/sky.com/UnlockCaptcha

and it resolves there problem! When I put my sky log in into it it says I need to be an adminstrator and redirects me to the sky tools site!

Please can someone tell me how to log into https://www.google.com/a/sky.com/UnlockCaptcha so I can also resolve my sending e-mail problem.
      Thanks
