      Catch Up TV not working..No Network reported

      My catch up tv has been working fine until Friday 3/10/14 morning when overnight there was a SKY Upgrade to the planner now I cannot find a Network connection between my Sky+HD Box and my router to use ON Demand/Catch Up TV.This morning I tried again went into services.. Network etc entered my Network name and password..No Network found.I spent ages on the phone waiting for sky..eventually spoke to a bloke in Mubai who took me through all the procedures including new planner rebuild turn off router and Sky box at the mains etc Software up date on sky box routine holding down backup button on to of box but nothing has changed still cant get a Network Connection between Router and Sky Box to add insult to injury phone got cut off and I couldnt get back through to the bloke in Mubai again..WHAT a SHAMBLES..Has anyone else had this problem and managed to get it resolved? Michael..NB no problem with wireless as can connect wirelessly with a Tablet and a Laptop!!

      This is an enigma. The issue pops up periodically irrespective of firmware.

      The following is perhaps over-the-top, but should pick up the issue...


      1. Power off your Sky STB at the mains
      2. Reboot your router
      3. Restart your Sky STB
      4. Reconnect the Sky STB if it is using WiFi

      Hi Thanks for your response,I have to advise that as explained in my post this action was taken following my request for help to sky mubai office and it didnt work.Last night I phoned sky again and got through to an agent in belfast sky office.I explained my problem and was advised that following the upgrade over thursday night,quite a few people had notified Sky of the problem and that Sky are working on a software fix.NB I have also tried to Manually sign in to WiFI Network but cant get connected by this method.Will have to wait for sky to come up with a fix before I can get on demans to work,as it doesnt appear to be just a glitch in my system..Michael

      Could I ask which firmware you have please?

      If you can press <Service> 0 3 and post the details on the first two lines we can see from there what you have.
