Re: Parental Control PIN
It should only be required for programmes which on a free to air channel could only be broadcast after the nine o'clock watershed. The PIN should not be required after 2100.

Re: Parental Control PIN
I haven't found any way round it, at least not with a standard Sky remote though I have read where on certain universal remote controls users have assigned pin entry to an unused button. Still I am always open to suggestions.

Re: Parental Control PIN
Whilst you can set the STB so that you don't need the PIN, sadly BBFC requires it to work on various encrypted channels. worse still, it seems that a lot of content which you can download off the On Demand section is also subjected to the PIN control.
As for the watershed of 9pm, some items have a 10pm time.
Despite complaining, Sky can't remove this.

Re: Parental Control PIN
Thank you for the info Scubbie, its not a big thing and I can understand why it may be considered needed by SKY, myself I use the broadband mostly the Wife watches the TV and my daughter is on SKY Talk most of the time (boy friends)
, within our package the broadband is only £8 a month and you cant beat that Im very happy with SKY so a few seconds to put in a PIN is not a problem

Re: Parental Control PIN
The best solution is to change your PIN to 1111. It takes a moment to enter and could be done blind folded.
