      SC201 Help!! URGENT!!!

      Hi ALL,

I have got the latest sky wireless connector and i'm facing problems, Sky is no help apart from doing housekeeping and resetting, which doesn't work ! I have connected it to my macbook late 2009, via ethernet cable and connects to my street's public free wifi, which is alright but slow speeds (free is free) What is the URL address to access the connector's web based settings?

      Help will be very appreciated.

      Jamie

I was under the impression that this information was printed on the Wireless device or in it's manual/guide.

Could you try one of the following IP Addresses or install 'Wireshark' to help you to find the answer that way?

      192.168.0.100
      192.168.0.150

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps

That's for the router not the wireless adapter

Unfortunately this isn't going to work as the OP is sharing his Internet connection through the MAC.

Surely a 2009 Mac Book will have built in wifi, are you sure it is not this you are connecting with? If you are able to pick up an external network you should be able to pick up your own router, provided the wifi is enabled of course. The V3 BT Hub is supposed to be fairly powerful.

What happens when you reset the wireless bridge and plug it into your Sky HD box? Even if you want to use it with another device, it is easier setting it up on the Sky Box first, then move it where you want it. Most failures to set up are down to using the wrong case when you type in the password. The Sky remote is the pits when it comes to entering passwords.

Did you manage to recover your Wireless connector or is it still only useful as a door stop?
