Connecting to Sky On Demand - Wireless - Non Sky Equipment

      Hi

I'm wanting to connect to sky on demand with a wireless connection and was hoping that i would be able to use an old router that i have lying around the house instead of buying the sky wireless device. I currently connect to the internet with a BT Home Hub 3 but have a hub 1 and 2 that i could use and possibly a Netgear WGR614 (if i can find it) to use with the sky box. Can anyone tell me if this is possible to do or if i have to buy from sky.

      Thanks

There is no need to buy from Sky. If you are unable to run an ethernet cable from your router to your Sky box you can use a set of powerline plugs or a wireless bridge.

Some routers have the capability to act as wireless bridges and others that don't can be upgraded with openwrt software to perform this function.
