Yes its splendid - one minor quibble is that HD programmes when downloaded do not have a title that includes "HD", they just say BBC1. Thus if you are catching up on (say) Hunted, when you download the older episodes they wont "group together" with the ones you have recorded normally (correctly labelled BBC1 HD) from the planner.

Re: BBC iPlayer comes to Sky+

Are you sure that you selected the correct item?

I've just selected last night's 'The One show' and it is showing "BBC ONE HD" in the planner.

One thing to specifically mention in this thread, although it has been mentioned in another today, is that there is no Radio content available on the BBC iPlayer. Sorry we couldn't confirm this previously. I don't know if the BBC will change their line up and include it later, but this is the current state of play for it.

Ok, I've added them to my planner for download. My connection is busy at the mo so it might be a little while before they are available.

At the moment though they both show correctly BBC One and BBC One HD.

Thx....the problem (their problem not mine) might be related to how I did it - I did a search for "Hunted", when I found it all the progs were classified under BBC One, but when you drill down you see that half are SD and half are HD, but - as I say - all labelled simply BBC One. I select an HD one for download, and it got put in my planner as BBC One.

Just in case, could I ask a few questions about your STB please?

Which model do you have (label on rear of STB)?

Under 'Settings' -> 'System Details' what are the reported details for...

      Model Number
      Version Number
      Manufacturer

Just did a search for Hunted using search, as you do.

Anyway 4 episodes are there in the list and only 2 and 4 have HD versions showing in a list.

      Eeeeekk!

I've been trying to download episode 4 from last week.

Episode 2 is listed as BBC One only for both HD and SD versions, as you have been saying.

I'll pass this on to the development team and hopefully they can forward it on to the BBC team who make the content available.

Re: BBC iPlayer comes to Sky+

Lots of content and great shows in there but people won't necessarily know due to how it's laid out.

I don't think some know that you can do a programme search by On Demand even though it's up there. You just don't think about it being that obvious. List all will admittedly give you a looooooong list but at least you can type in a couple of letters and jump to where your show is when you know what you're looking for. And it's preferable to using the blue search button inside a specific Player as it kicks you out if it when you exit and you have to go back into it again.

Also the listing/stacking of shows would come in handy as just scrolling endlessly from left to right for more and more and more and more and more episodes will give you RSI.

Re: BBC iPlayer comes to Sky+

During the testing not all the CUTV content was available by using the Search feature for all the different players. As each has been launched, everything has come together nicely.

There are a few 'niggles' and these are still being fed back to the development team.

As with this issue, if someone spots something, please let us know. Either myself or someone else who has been involved can easily raise it. Whilst posting on the public Sky forums is fine, this way it'll get found a little quicker.
