I love how quickly the iPlayer populates content during the day. When you look at 'today' on BBC1 EastEnders has just been added and it looks like programmes have been added constantly through the day. Then I look at ITV Player for today and they are up to Loose Women from this afternoon. Even the SD programmes on iPlayer are broadcast quality compared to some on Demand 5 and ITV Player. The gulf in quality between BBC iPlayer and everything else is huge.

      Not now.

I was thinking that it might be limited to a specific model or something. If it is, then it is the same on mine anyway, so I can provide my details if they can't see it.

      Have fun at work.

Will series catch-up come to this version of the iPlayer? A whole series of a show when the programme is running until the final episode would have been great like with the online version. Also why do some films make it to this version and others don't?

      I don't think so.

It may be something which they look at in the future. There are a lot of things which may be added now that the bulk of this round has been completed.

As for why some things are on the On Demand section and others aren't, I guess this is down to the old age problem of licensing agreements. Gradually more agreements to show new shows and films are including the Sky Go and On Demand sections.

Hopefully there will be a time when all will be available across all the platforms, but not yet.

I've decided the list all feature for BBC iPlayer is a necessity. I'm going to get RSI with all of the scrolling. I know what shows I want but I shouldn't have to go through an endurance test to get to them.

I find the search facility much the easiest if I know the name of the prog.

I think it's silly not to have it on iPlayer when other players use it and it's also in the library section.

Another reason why list would help is if you go to the featured section see how much is there when you scroll to the right,. It takes ages!
