Migrating from sky connect without phone, to talk talk BB & phone
im in the process of migrating to talk talk from sky connect.
i currently have sky connect broadband without and phone package and pay standard line rental from BT. I have received my mac code from sky.
talktalk want to change my line rental to be with them.
they say they will do everything for me...get in touch with BT.
All I want to know is, can I expect a cancellation charge for my line rental with BT?
I dont have a phone package with them, just the basic line rental.

You must have a phone package of some sort with someone, it'll most likely be with BT. Provided you are out of any contracts you have with BT/Sky you wont get any additional charges.

BT Phone line rental includes their basic calling plan.
If you move both line and broadband to talk talk, you will not be able to change ISP again without first returning your line to BT. This might cost you.
IIWY I'd keep my line rental with BT.
