terms & conditions - installation query
i ordered sky BB on 23.1.07 via their website & chose mid package with self-install.
i've checked on the BT tracker & an order is there with a completion date of 03.02.07, but i can't access the order to get any further info. so, this side seems to be going ahead ok.
i've just had an email from sky with their terms & conditions attached. with regards to installation, it reads as if sky are doing it
ie somebody having to be in at the time when the engineer calls etc.
i've logged on to mysky but i can't find any info of my order to confirm that i did definitely choose self install. i'm pretty sure i did as the order total was £20, which is just the activation fee isn't it? (the amount hasn't been put thru to my credit card yet so i can't check on there yet either).

If you paid an activation fee then you didn't go for the MAX package which has free engineer install.
So, by deduction, if you paid *any* activation fee you will have to also pay an install fee to get engineer installation (£50).
Since you say you were only charged £20, you are self-install. The BB Box will arrive by courier at some point.
