      Sky Q Router issues / log date

      Hi,

      Having some issues with my sky Q router.

      It shut its self off the other night around 12/1am for a few hours unexpectedly. I shut the pc down and even after rebooting the PC and router the internet light was a still a solid orange. But when I woke up in the morning the green light had come back on.

      05/11/21 is todays date but the logs now show a date of 1970/01/01 with a lot of messages I have never seen before.

      Why has the date changed? I also ran a DNS test and its given me a lot of red error message and they are all from the US with no GB unlike other images i have seen of this program in use.

      Could anyone explain to me what is going on and why the date has changed and what the log messages mean. i have looked in the past at the logs and have never seen these types of messages.

      I can't tell you what the messages mean, partially because they are too small to see, but also because I'm no expert.
      However the date change is easy to explain. It's because you rebooted the router and as the connection was down at the time it could not get the date and time from the service. It should be correct on any messages that have occurred since it reconnected.
