      Engineer call out nightmare

My phone line and internet went down last Tuesday I immediately razed a request for an engineer to fix the issue which is outside at the junction box. Iím going round in circles with engineers being booked and the booking dropping out. Numerous calls to Sky have not sorted the issue although everyone I spoke to has been very nice.

      Engineer booking history:
      Tuesday 13th July 2021
      Wednesday 14th
      Friday 16th
      Saturday 17th
ALL of these bookings have dropped off and nobody at Sky can explain why. The whole family is self isolating and my son and daughter both work from home and canít visit the office because they are self isolating. I obviously need this resolved ASAP.

      Re: Engineer call out nightmare

It's a nightmare trying to get anyone to do anything these days. Anyway the outside line problem would involve Openreach "engineers."and Sky is not Openreach. There can be a conflict of, shall we say, interests involved. It took me well over a month to get anything done when I moved home because this house did not have a telephone line, well it did but it had been dissconnected at the exchange. I had to suffer with a 3 MiFi until the line was reconnected.

Oh and just for your info this is not the official Sky forum. I don't think you would get any more help there but it's worth a try.
