Moving home
Hi anyone know if u move home and your new address clearly can't supply sky broadband and u I a contract can u cancel without charge as it wont be my fault

The answer I've found in the past is that it varies and it can depend on various factors personal to you.
Since you are going to need to contact them anyway, I would be inclined to call Sky when you have a confirmed moving date and ask what the best procedure is.
Please remember to play nice and express some kind of desire to stay with Sky but explain that you can't get it where you are moving to.
In the meantime, remember that it can take a short period for the new provider to set things up at the new address. Make sure that you find out what the typical lead time is and what it is currently. Add a few days and call with plenty of time for them to arrive when you move or have just moved in.
