IPv6 address not being picked up by Archer vr900v2
Hi everyone first real post.
I have got an archer vr900v2 and have extracted the un/pw from the sr102. An IPv4 session starts but no IPv6 session. Any ideas? I will flash the latest firmware and see if that makes any differance
It already is the latest firmware.Last edited by Bugbear; 06-03-18 at 01:13 PM. Reason: Flashed to latest

ipv6 can be tricky on 3rd party routers with Sky. What settings have you entered for IPv6 in the VR900 ?

Re: IPv6 address not being picked up by Archer vr900v2
I was looking for the allow IPv6 tickbox on the wan interface setup, the vr600 has this, but could not find it. When I tried to setup RADVD on the lan side it complained about not having an active wan port and mentioned something about the tunnel settings. It made me wonder if it could do it natively with sky.
I've read in other posts about using a pipe char to linkthe un and pw on the un line, something about glue logic, to get v6 to work, but that was a wash out as well.
Maybe I should send it back to amazon and get a billion, Do thhese work with v6?

Re: IPv6 address not being picked up by Archer vr900v2
Billion stuff is damn good, I still use one as a modem and wireless access point, I've never found another modem/router that can bridge to a separate firewall and still allow use of the LAN/Wifi too. They were also about the first third party modem/router to work natively with Sky. If it does not work on IPv6 ( I suspect it will ) then their support will get it working, they are first class.
