Expected speed on broadband unlimited

Hi

Could anybody tell me what are the expected speed for broadband unlimited?
Im having problems watching youtube videos, amazon films etc.
Ive just done a speed test this afternoon

Response Time: 234ms
Download Speed: 6.5Mbps
Upload Speed: 0.5Mbps

yesterday it was 5mbps download speed.
Is this acceptable?
Is it worth phoning sky?

The line attenuation indicates you are quite a way from the exchange, so your speeds could be about right, I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

poor upstream indicates noise allied with higher snr on downstream so will need to check filters? or telephone line for noise

should i ask sky to check my phone line?
we dont have any filters as its direct from the socket, a new socket was fitted last year, in an attempt to fix the constant disconnections.

if you have a telephone dial 17070 then option 2 will do a noise level test with your voice (do without router connected) if you hear any noise popping crackling or hissing ie then call sky for line test
